If you are an athlete, a sports fan or both, UC Davis is a great university to attend. We’ve got intercollegiate varsity teams, intramural sports and on-campus sport clubs that deliver competition and fun.

In 2016-17, Aggie teams won conference championships in , and . Nine teams were represented in the NCAA postseason, with men's basketball making its . Additionally, the women's into the Women's National Invitation Tournament. UC Davis also claimed individual conference titles in , , and .
Aggie student-athletes also continued to earn . Four teams earned NCAA Public Recognition Awards for Academic Progress Rate, eight teams led their respective conferences in APR, while 11 tallied perfect 1,000 APR scores during the 2015-16 academic year (the last year available for scores).

Intramural and sport clubs
Beyond our NCAA sports, we have about 2,000 UC Davis students in nearly 40 sport clubs organized through Campus Recreation and Unions at UC Davis. Sport clubs compete with other universities and colleges across the country.
Campus Rec will host 39 in the 2017-18 academic year, including the recent additions of co-ed archery, co-ed cross-country and track, and women's basketball.
You can also have fun with fellow Aggies participating in intramural sports. UC Davis fields nearly 30 types of with 1,900 teams, serving nearly 7,700 students, faculty, staff and alumni.
